On November 17, the Loveland FTC teams 10464 Bionic Tigers and 5040 Nuts & Bolts hosted a scrimmage for 16 FTC teams. The event was run in the same format as qualifying rounds in a tournament, and each team participated in 4 qualifying matches. Several rookie teams from the Cincinnati area attended the tournament and were able to get assistance with their robot design and programming from members of the Bionic Tigers and Nut & Bolts. Ohio FTC referees, tournament directors, scorekeepers and and an FTA helped at the event in a great trial run for upcoming tournaments. As part of the event, teams also brought donations of canned food that the Loveland teams donated to City Gospel Mission in Cincinnati and new LEGO kits that the Electric Legends, an FTC from Kentucky, donated to Ronald McDonald house. It was a great afternoon of learning and FIRST!
